Bio
Debora Medici, aka “Selkis”, was born in Italy, in Jesi (AN) on 22 November 1994 and lives in Hamburg, Germany. From 2016 to 2019 she was the frontwoman of the new wave / post-punk band “Sinking Selkis” with whom she released the album “In cauda venenum”. Influenced mainly by Pj Harvey, Lydia Lunch, Beth Gibbons and Bjork, she has been defined “a versatile singer with a great stage presence, capable of alternating multiple vocal styles; she goes from ethereal and melodic moments to a very effective use of growl”
